Trip Grading

Our trip grading system is based on the difficulties and physical strength required for a particular trekking route classified on the standards of total waking hours, altitudes, weather and terrain.

Easy (Grade A)

  • Easiest trekking route
  • Easy walking to view mountain ranges, cultural activities and nature visit
  • No previous experience and strong physical fitness required
  • Walking hour per day: 3-4

Moderate (Grade B)

  • Suitable grade for adventurers
  • Longer walking day and higher altitudes
  • Difficult terrain with frequent ascents and descents
  • Physical fitness and expert advice required
  • Walking hour per day: 4-6 hrs

Difficult (Grade C)

  • Challenging level
  • Good experience of mountain walking, physical fitness and expert advice required
  • Walking in more difficult terrain at higher altitudes with longer hours
  • Walking hour per day: 6-8 hrs
