Pre-Trip Information

Trekking and Mountain Gears

It costs you high to buy all the trekking gears and required tools for just a single trekking route. So we help you with our own trekking and mountain gears essential for your safety. Trekking in the mountain region is a bit difficult because of high altitudes, cold environment and the rough path. We make following things available:

  • Down Jacket
  • Down Sleeping bag
  • Snow Gaiter
  • Rain poncho
  • Tent
  • Mattress
  • Duffle bag

Other types of equipment are also provided if needed for specific trekking routes. Trekkers should manage warm clothes for upper and lower body parts of their own.

Physical Fitness

Trekking requires a good physical fitness but generally depends upon the difficulty level of the route. Trekking to high altitudes can cause simple changes in health condition and are tolerable but in the case of serious accidents and abnormalities, our experienced trek leaders and guides are there to look after you. Our team is well equipped with First Aid kit, some essential medicines and tools required to cure health hazards while trekking to high altitudes.

The simple symptoms of altitude sickness are caused by lack of oxygen in blood at the high altitudes that’s why acclimatization is required for one to several days. We have health expert to flow such information prior to any trekking where trekkers are suggested to report any difficult circumstances in health to the group leader or guides during the trek.

There are varieties of low cost guest houses to 5-star hotels in Nepal for accommodation. There are numerous Hotels in the main cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara which you can choose according to your budget plan, but in the trekking location far from main cities there are few hotels but with enough facilities for foreigners. The available accommodation in remote locations is Tea houses, Camping and Homestays. Be sure about the type of accommodation available in your trekking destination before leaving so that you can manage the required paraphernalia.

Depending upon the budget and facilities one can choose either cheap guest houses or five-star hotels for accommodation. If you are planning to spend as much as required and have high level facilities, there are international level hotels providing excellent services, but still there are options for those who want to compromise on facilities and save their money by having their stay at hotels which provide only basic facilities. It’s easy to choose and book hotels once you decide your priority and let us know about it.
