Kathmandu valley; the historical, political as well commercial spot, is the heart of Nepal which comprises three distinct districts Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktpur. Kathmandu itself is the capital city of Nepal and is the first landing point of the most of international visitors via aerial transportation. The valley has its own historical importance. It was ruled by different rulers before it was conquered in 1740s by Prithvi Narayan Shah. It holds the background of different diplomatic stories and warfares making an interesting historical tale. The valley is also the center of attraction for the ancient art, architectural designs and different feasts and festivals represented by different castes and ethnic groups.These cities include altogether seven places listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
