Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu, our friendly team will warmly welcome you and escort you to your hotel. Our airport representative will provide a brief overview of your itinerary. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Flight to Pokhara and Trek to Tikhe Dhunga
After a scenic 25-minute flight to Pokhara, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and the Annapurna range. Pokhara, known as the “City of Lakes,” is a tranquil oasis in Nepal, that offers various outdoor activities. We’ll then drive to Nayapul (42km) and trek to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m/49035ft) for about 5 hours. Along the way, you’ll pass through charming villages, and bamboo forests, and enjoy lunch at Ramghai. Overnight at a guesthouse with meals included.
Day 3: Trek to Ghorepani
Today’s trek starts with a stream crossing and a steep stone staircase with approximately 3300 steps leading to the Magar village of Ulleri at 2080m. The trail ascends gently through pastures and cultivated fields. After a rest stop at Nangethanti, where “thanti” means “rest house,” we continue to Ghorepani (2850m). Here, you’ll witness panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri I, Tukuche Nilgiri, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and Tarke Kang. Overnight at a guesthouse with meals included.
Day 4: Hike to Poon Hill and Trek to Tadapani
Rise early for a hike to Poon Hill (3210m) to witness a spectacular sunrise and panoramic Himalayan views. Afterward, return to Ghorepani for breakfast before trekking to Tadapani. Enjoy the lush scenery along the way. Overnight at a guesthouse with meals included.
Day 5: Trek to Sinuwa Descending from Tadapani to Gurjung,
You’ll have great views of the upper Modi Valley. The trail then ascends high above the Modi Khola, passing Chhomrong and finally reaching Sinuwa. The day’s trek takes about 6 hours. Overnight at a guesthouse with meals included.
Day 6: Trek to Deurali
Today’s journey takes us to Kuldi Ghar and then a steep descent to the bank of the Modi Khola. We pass through bamboo thickets and reach the Himalayas before heading to Deurali. Enjoy the scenic beauty along the way. Overnight at a guesthouse with meals included.
Day 7: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
We continue our trek past Machhapuchhre Base Camp to reach the Annapurna Base Camp, also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. This area is encircled by magnificent mountains. After a 2-hour trek, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views. Overnight at a guesthouse with meals included.
Day 8: Descend to Bamboo
Following the same trail in reverse, we descend to Bamboo, dropping by 1,700m. Enjoy the lush surroundings as you make your way back. Overnight at a guesthouse with meals included.
Day 9: Trek to Jhinu Danda (Hot Spring)
Trekking from Bamboo to Chhomrong, you’ll pass through rhododendrons and bamboo fields. Afterward, descend steeply to the Jhinu hot spring, where you can relax and bathe in natural hot springs. Overnight at a guesthouse with meals included.
Day 10: Jhinu Danda to Kathmandu
Crossing the suspension bridge, we drive to Pokhara and then take a flight back to Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel with breakfast and lunch included.
Day 11: Farewell
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight, a representative from Drishya Travels and Tours will accompany you to the airport for your departure.
How hard is the Annapurna Base Camp Trek? Is there a risk of altitude sickness?
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a moderate-level trek. During the trek, you’ll be traversing on uphill and downhill terrains. On average, the duration of the hike will be 5-6 hours daily.
Likewise, we can also talk about the elevation of the area. In the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, the highest elevated ground is at 4130m. At this level of altitude, there is a low risk of acquiring altitude sickness. In addition, throughout the journey, you’ll be assisted by an experienced guide who’ll be there to provide you instructions about how to walk at a slow pace and about adapting to the altitude level.
What are the differences between the 14-day and 11-day ABC trek packages?
In the 14-day package, there is a 2 nights accommodation in Pokhara and an additional trekking day. If you have ample time, then this package will be most suitable for you. You can enjoy the trek and also relax at Pokhara after the trek.
Whereas in the 11-day package, we’ll skip the 2 nights’ accommodation in Pokhara, and there will be 1 less trekking day. This package is perfect for those who have a limited amount of time and want to complete the trek in a short amount of time.
Is a swimming suit mandatory for Jhinu Danda Hot Spring?
Yes, swimming suits are mandatory for the Jhinu Danda Hot Spring. You can carry your swimsuits and change near the hot spring inside the changing rooms.
Will somebody come to pick me up at the airport upon my arrival?
As you arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will find our staff waiting for you outside the terminal Hall. He will be holding a “Nepal Hiking Team” display board so that you can easily spot him in the crowds. He will then escort you to your hotel and assist you with check-in.

Can I get a visa for Nepal on arrival at the airport?
Yes, you can certainly obtain a Nepal visa on arrival at the airport. Firstly, you should complete the application form online before arriving at the entry point. The immigration office at the Kathmandu airport is open 24/7.
To apply a Visa in Nepal, you need to have a passport with the validity of at least six months and a blank page in the passport for the visa stamp.
Visa fees should be paid in cash or by credit card.
Please remember that travelers (citizens), namely from Nigeria, Eswatini, Ghana, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Somalia, Cameroon, Iraq, Syria, Ethiopia, Liberia, and Palestine, must obtain Nepal Visa before arriving in Nepal. They are NOT eligible for an ON-Arrival visa.
Indian citizens do not need to apply for visa for their trip to Nepal.

We’ve made arrangements for you to stay at a comfortable 3-star hotel in a centrally located area in Kathmandu. It is a bustling neighborhood in Kathmandu with easy access to nearby markets and restaurants. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable and have an en-suite bathroom for your convenience. And to start your day right, breakfast is included during your stay.
Depending on their availability, we usually use Woodapple Hotel and Spa or other comparable hotels in Kathmandu. This newly built hotel is located on the outskirts of Thamel and offers excellent service.
Moreover, if you’re interested in extending your stay in Kathmandu, we’re more than happy to help. We’ll arrange the stay and according to the different hotels, the rates may vary.

To book your trip with NHT, all you have to do is follow three simple steps.
Step 1: Check out the itinerary on our website or as per email correspondence. We can also further customize the itinerary to suit your preference if you want to change it.
Step 2: If the itinerary suits your preference, contact us to ask about its availability or check our website’s departure dates.
Step 3: We require you to deposit 20% of the total cost and send a photocopy of your passport to confirm your booking. You can pay the rest of the balance after you arrive in Nepal/Kathmandu either by card or cash in US dollar.

What are your cancellation and refund policies?
The cancellation and refund policies are clear and simple. If a situation arises in which you need to cancel your trip, all you have to do is send us a trip cancellation request. And then we will proceed with your cancellation process. We ensure that the process will be smooth and hassle free.
As for the refunds, we apologize to inform you that the 20% of the deposit that was made to confirm your booking will not be refunded. This amount will be considered a cancellation fee.
We do not encourage our clients to cancel the trip with us. Instead, you can postpone the trip to a later date without losing a penny.
Can I postpone my trek? If so, how?
Yes! We offer a free postponement service to all our clients. In case you need to postpone the trip due to travel restrictions or any kind of issue, you can do so by choosing a date that is convenient for you.
