The Everest Helicopter Tour is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that takes you to the top of the world. Here’s what you need to know about the logistics of the tour:

The Everest Helicopter tour takes approximately 2 hours from start to finish. The cost of the tour is $1,500 per person.

During the Everest helicopter tour, you will be flown in a helicopter to Everest Base Camp, where you will have the opportunity to see the world’s tallest mountain up close. You will also get to experience the local culture and meet the Sherpa people who live in the area.

After your time at Everest Base Camp, you will be flown back to the helicopter landing pad, where you will be transferred to your original transportation and taken back to your hotel.

06:00 am: Pickup from hotel

This helicopter tour begins bright and early at 6:00 am. We’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for the domestic terminal.

06:15 am: Takeoff, Kathmandu to Lukla

After the briefing and seating arrangement, we will take off to the east of Kathmandu valley where you will get to enjoy the spectacular view of snow-capped mountains like Langtang range and Ganesh Himal. The flight will be an exciting experience as you will get to see some of the world’s highest peaks.

07:30 am: Stop at Lukla to refuel the Helicopter

07:30 am: We land at Lukla to refuel the helicopter. At an altitude of 2,820m, this is the most adventurous airport and the entry point for all treks, tours, and expeditions for Everest. It takes around 10 to 15 minutes. You can enjoy the scenic beauty and mountain views while we’re refueling.

07:45 am: Takeoff for Everest Base Camp

After finishing refueling, the Everest Helicopter Tour Flight takes off and continues to fly over the Dudh Koshi River valley towards Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazar is the largest town and the economic hub of the Everest region. The helicopter tour then continues to fly over the Sherpa settlement, providing breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung (7,234m), Ganesh Himal (7,429m), Gauri Shankar Himal (7,134m), Shishapangma (8,013m), Gyachung Kang (7,952m), and Pumori (7,161m).

08:00am: Landing at Everest Base Camp / Kala Patthar

You can fulfill your dream of landing at Everest Base Camp (5,830m) or Kala Patthar (5644m). It’s a lifetime memory for you. Base camp is located below the dreaded Khumbu icefall and surrounded by the highest peaks in the world including Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, Lobuche, and many more Kala Patthar is a better location in terms of scenery as it is one of the best viewpoints in the Khumbu.

08:15 am: Takeoff from Everest Base Camp to Syangboche

Our flight today will take off from Everest Base Camp and head to Syangboche for breakfast. The Everest View Hotel is a famous hotel located in Syangboche and it offers guests stunning views of the Everest region. We hope you enjoy your time here!

08:30 am: Breakfast at Everest View Hotel, Syangboche

You’ll land at Syangboche and enjoy breakfast with a 360-degree view of Everest at the world’s highest hotel, Everest View Hotel. The food is delicious and you’ll have a 30-minute break to enjoy it.

09:30 am: Fly from Syangboche to Lukla

We take off from Syangboche to Lukla airport for a quick refuel. The helicopter will need around 15 minutes to refuel before we can continue our flight.

10:00 am: Return flight to Kathmandu from Lukla.

This is the final Helicopter flight to Kathmandu so enjoy the stunning aerial views of the Himalayas and landscape. The flight will land in Kathmandu.

10:30 am: Landing at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Successful completion of your Everest Heli tour after landed at Kathmandu. Now our office representative pick you up from the airport and drop you at your hotel.
